Hello everyone, my name is Leonardo Jacovas and I'm the strength and conditioning undergraduate assistant coach at Florida National University.
I carefully developed this e-book to help you achieve all your fitness needs to be able to exceed and excel on the soccer pitch.
I, like you, played soccer since I was a kid, playing in some clubs back in Brazil and as a student-athlete in the U.S.
I`m a fitness enthusiastic, being physical education one of my passions.
Combining my both passions, soccer and fitness, I know exactly what you need to work on, to be able to outcome all the challenges that a soccer season and a soccer match might offer to you.
This e-book was developed
to be followed as your Soccer Strength & Conditioning Program. The document follows a progression of 8 weeks, increasing the intensity and difficulty of the workouts progressively.
It was developed for your specific Soccer Strength and Conditioning needs.
It is recommended for soccer athletes that are looking forward to being in shape and to be able to endure through the intense and competitive training sessions.
The document also provides some nutritional advices, such as examples of pre-workout and post-workout meals, how to calculate your macronutrients according to your age, height, and weight, as well as some healthy recipes ideas.
